Two U.S. soldiers killed in Baghdad
Source: Voice of Iraq

Baghdad, Mar 17, (VOI)- The U.S. army in Iraq said on Monday that two soldiers were killed when a roadside bomb exploded targeting their vehicle patrol in Baghdad.

“Two Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers were killed when an improvised-explosive device struck the Soldiers’ vehicle at approximately 12:20 p.m. on March 17,” the U.S. army said in a statement received by Aswat al-Iraq – Voices of Iraq (VOI).
“The Soldiers were conducting a route-clearance combat operation north of Baghdad when the attacked occurred,” it added.

The deaths bring the number of the U.S. troops killed in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003 to 3,990 according to statistics released by the U.S. army.

Of this number, 17 U.S. soldiers have been killed so far in March 2008.

2. But ... but ... it's "romantic" ...
... meantime cheney and McInsane are over there calling Iraq a "success" ... as our drunk-monkey (my apologies to drunks and monkeys) president mocks us with statements about how if he were a younger man he "would think it romantic to serve and fight for freedom ..." - never mentioning that when he had the chance he hide behind cocaine and skirts ...

be careful folks - these bastards aren't slowing down a bit - and why should they? Who has stopped them? The so-called "opposition-party"? HA! I'm telling you ... all the measures are in place for bush to declare a "national state of emergency", which ONLY HE has the power to do, declare Marshall Law and take over ever level and branch of government, bank, asset, private or otherwise, through PD-51, AND DON'T TELL ME THEY CAN'T DO IT!!!

I've watched these cretins murder their own citizens, lie us into a war of genocide, torture, ruthlessly disregard the laws of the land, plunder our National Treasury, destroy a whole culture, commit and promote wanton acts of terror and more and all of this while they spit in our face, laughed and sing songs that mock our efforts and their getting away with treasonous crimes at $1,500-a-plate dinners ... so please don't tell me these murdering pathological sociopaths can't decide that between the collapsing economy, food riots, most likely an attack on Iran, another "false flag" operation or any combination of the above that they wouldn't do their worst ... we haven't seen their worst yet, and you can bet your sweet democracy they'll try to take it from us before they go

7. when did this MNDB thing start? ...
I've just noticed in the last week or so that these
reports talk about "Multi-National Division – Baghdad"
soldiers.

I may have seen it abbreviated as "MNDB Soldier" as well.

Is this a new thing or did I just miss the memo?

Seems like it is more Orwellian doublespeak bullshit so it
doesn't quite sound like "more american soldiers killed".
