McCain Warry of Iran's Influence In Iraq and the Middle East
Source: Associated Press

By ALFRED de MONTESQUIOU

AMMAN, Jordan - Sen. John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting, expressed fresh concern Tuesday about Iran's influence in Iraq and rising sway in Mideast.

McCain noted U.S. military officials recently discovered a cache of armor-piercing bombs in Iraq, and he hinted the explosives had been provided by Iran. U.S. officials have long been saying that Iran provides explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs to, Shiite militias in Iraq, although the Iranian government denies any role.

The U.S. military reported two such finds during the past week.

McCain also voiced concern that Tehran is bringing militants over the border into Iran for training before sending them back to fight U.S. troops in Iraq, and blamed Syria for allegedly continuing to "expedite" a flow of foreign fighters.

Considering that this is precisely the fault of the war he so strongly supports I find this more than a bit amusing.

5. Is mcbush the second biggest political idiot this country has had to deal with????
Well, duh. Iran has an influence on Iraq?? Give me a break. Hell yes. More than half the population of Iraq...or what is left of them.....are Sunni, the same as Iran. They identify with them. The same goes for Saudi Arabia and the Shia. Give me a break. God, we have some dumb ass people in politics.

And do you think the US is selling arms to rebel groups around the world?? Damn better be sure we are. We don't make anything else these days, and we're in the bombs and bullets business. How dumb do we have to be to be surprised??

And finally, has this idiot ever heard the expression "civil war"???? I am so shocked that this bimbo can say stuff like this, and actually get it quoted in the media as though it's "news".

America??....are you really that f*cking stupid???

at the drop of a hat! McCain is a Warmongering lunatic! That's all he cares about! He's worse than Bush!
If he were to get in there we would lose billions of more dollars to War and the U.S. would go down the tubes worse than it is now! :nuke:

Down with McCain!

8. I'm wary of McCain's influence on Iraq, Iran, and the Middle East.
As well as on the U.S., and the rest of the world.

Let's work to keep his influence minimized to at most that of a senator from Arizona.

13. I imagine Uncle DICK told him to talk about Iran
in these terms. Uncle DICK FOR BRAINS is over there shaking his sword, trying to rustle up support, so the new puppet( if elected) will just continue on as in a relay race. At one time, years ago, I really thought McCain was SO much smarter than they were. Must be he has been promised since then, quite a sizeable chunk of the main prize as well(oil profits)! GREEDY BASTARDS!
