Multi-vehicle crash blocking Golden Gate Bridge
Source: mercury news

A multi-car collision is blocking all but one lane of the Golden Gate Bridge, authorities said.

The collision occurred at 2:40 p.m. between the mid-span and the north tower, a bridge dispatcher said.

Cars are blocking all of the southbound lanes and two of the three northbound lanes, multiple injuries have been reported. Emergency vehicles have responded.

1. Yikes!
After all these years I still hate driving the center lane in either direction. It is quite a narrow squeeze already, then add cars whizzing towards you at 60+ mph and things can go very bad, very fast. Hope everyone is OK.

3. The evening commute is going to be a nightmare.
I hope the GG system adds ferries as substitutes for the over the bridge buses.
I'm also VERY glad that I won't be in the traffic on the 80s in Oakland/Berkeley.

Flew up to San Francisco with a girl named Barbara

Bought the "Thing" and drove back.

As we crossed the GG bridge she started doing something to me she said I would never forget.

She was right.
