Bernanke, House Republicans to meet Tues on economy (no Dems to be allowed at meeting?)
Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is scheduled to meet with Republican leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday to discuss the U.S. economy and housing market problems, House Minority Leader John Boehner said on Friday.

"We look forward to meeting with Chairman Bernanke to discuss the rising threat to our economy and the need for responsible action to address problems in our housing market," said Boehner, an Ohio Republican.

The meeting is tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT, according to an aide.

In announcing the meeting, Boehner sketched a dour economic situation: "The economy is struggling and American families and small businesses are increasingly feeling the squeeze of rising costs of living -- at the pump, in the grocery stores, and paying the bills in the office or at the kitchen table."

It doesn't say that Dems are excluded - just implies - but what is the Fed doing meeting with only one side of the aisle?

5. "The economy is struggling and American families and small businesses..."
"...are increasingly feeling the squeeze of rising costs of living -- at the pump, in the grocery stores, and paying the bills in the office or at the kitchen table."

F**K YOU, BONER!!! It's your f**king Chimp in the White House and his handler(s) who got us in this mess!!!

From the article--
Boehner said House Republicans wanted to work with Bernanke, the Bush administration and Democrats in Congress "to stop threats to economic growth and American prosperity, both in the short-term and in the long run."

Work together? Since when? Since when did the Repubs want to "work together?" Hey, Boner, remember Newt Gingrich? He said you would "cooperate, but wouldn't compromise." Guess what, Boner, "compromise" comes from "working together." And what about your Chimp and his "my way or the highway" political philosophy? That doesn't suggest "working together," does it?

Hey, Boner, just...

FUCK YOU!!!

9. Well now you see...
...the Dems don't *need* to meet with Bernanke, because they are not the ones likely to be harmed by association with Bushco's policies. Sooo, Bernanke, being the nice guy that he is, agreed to this meeting with the Pubs so's to help them figger out how to pin it on the other guys.

Now that wasn't so hard was it?

:-)

11. The Democrats don't matter...
They can't override a veto. Or stop an executive order. So they don't matter. And there the Empress sits. Looking at the pretty table with nothing on it. Listening to Nero fiddle away. While Rome burns to the ground. Believing the smoke to be some heavenly incense provided for her by the Emperor. Who adores her so. As she adores him.

13. No Dems? Good! Congressional Dems are too-easily coopted.
I would be very worried were a number of Dems GOING to the meeting.

Let the GOP come with its plans to further sink America all on its own.
