Source: Klobuchar to endorse Obama
Source: KSTP.com

Sources in Washington have told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that Sen. Amy Klobuchar is preparing to endorse Sen. Barack Obama.

I wouldn't say it's a death knell for Hillary's campaign, but this would be a significant event if it's true.

While I'm happy for the endorsement. I just don't see why it matters
if she's a woman or not. If the Female supers are banding together because of a vagina, it's quite idiotic IMO.

3. They're under enormous pressure
To stick with Hillary because she's a woman. That alone makes it significant news.

4. The Wall Street Journal
Are reporting that another group of SDs are set to fall for Obama as well - they say 7 from NC, but that 1 has already endorsed, so not sure if the 1 is part of the 7 or not. Damn, I knew I should have listened better in math!! ;)

9. From the WSJ article you link to:
Meanwhile, North Carolina's seven Democratic House members are poised to endorse Sen. Obama as a group -- just one has so far -- before that state's May 6 primary, several Democrats say.

That would be pretty dramatic - and make quite a statement.

10. Political experts say...gosh, that's just like some people say...
I thought we had long established that "some people" are no people at all.

Drivel.

11. This is what we need ...

This is what we need, some real good 1-2 punches to knock Hillary out. We all know where this is eventually going. But it is better for Obama to knock Hillary out in the 8th round than have this slog all the way through an 18th round at the convention.

BTW, I don't know how Hillary can hold this "let the people vote" and "we will court the super delegates attitude". If she wants the people to decide, than she should tell the supers to vote with their districts.

Obama is just plain in the lead so he doesn't need these contortions of logic. His pitch to the supers now should be,

1) I am in the lead
2) Hillary cannot take the lead
3) If the supers overturn the delegate count there will be hell to pay
4) We have to move on to running against McCain
