Clinton challenges McCain, Obama on war
Source: cnn.com

Sen. Hillary Clinton on Wednesday argued that she is the only presidential candidate capable of ending the war in Iraq.
"One candidate will continue the war and keep the troops in Iraq indefinitely. One candidate only says he will end the war," she said while campaigning in Pennsylvania.

"And one candidate is ready, willing and able to end the war and to rebuild our military while honoring our soldiers and our veterans."

You know she does have a point.... Further, only one of the candidates has stated that they will bring the troops home and end the war regardless of what the Generals on the ground say?

Will others be influenced by the military brass. Can you imagine a scenario where the Brass is saying we do not recommend your course of action Mr. President and the amount of turnover in Generals/Admirals that will be retired.... The media will have a field day.

4. No I am begining to think that
Obama could be influenced to try to win it...fix it, salvage it...etc... His questioning of Patreaus is where I started to doubt him... Remeber Obama is campaigning as a uniter... It is going to be rough firing all the Generals and Admirals in the Pentagon that want us to continue this fiasco in Iraq....

2. I'm not voting for either of them unless they get a whole lot more specific...
...than some vague promise to end the war someday, honor the troops, whatever. I'll wait until the dems pick a candidate and see what that candidate has to say. Equivocation about the war will NOT earn my vote in November!

5. Credibility is an issue with her...
But in this particular position she is on the right side at least even if it is phoney.

12. Well I have been following the Rhetoric of both her and Obama
and Obama is not talking like he is going to do anything different in Iraq. Also It appears to me that Obama is going to fell like he can fix it instead of realising what we all know that it is lost. If he tries to fix it he will be held accountable for it. Only Hillary has said specifically that even if the advisors and generals told her not to remove the troops she would do it anyway....

She has a better grasp on this situation than Obama is all I am saying so get a clue before you just call out someone as a liar.

8. This is how she planned it.
She voted for this war. She supported it for a few years. When it appeared that the polls were saying the people are fed up with it, she began to change her tune, which is nothing new with the great triangulator. Now she wants to end it? LOL. She believed at the time, I think, that she would get the Republicans on her side, or at the least, would not give Republicans and edge when it came to her nomination as president. She also believes she can lie her way out of it and she is trying to-- once more---, bamboozle the American people, half of whom she thinks do not count. She is jerking around the people and those who support her, imo,--- support war. They also have an out, because now she does not support war!!!

This woman is not fit to be president. We deserve better than this idiot of a calculating, inept management based solely upon winning no matter what she has to lie about. Haven't we had enough of that from Bush? Does anyone see the dangers in a dynastic occupation of the White House? With all the same advisors gathered around Hill and Bill as in the nineties? Those same advisors who advise her campaign and have made a giant mess of it? It is not healthy and the Clintons are proving that.

We must move forward and away from this Billary, co-presidency, campaign. Or we will get the same from them as we got from the Bush dynasty.

No liars for president!
