TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Firefighters are investigating a blaze that destroyed the presidential campaign office of Hillary Rodham Clinton in Terre Haute.
The fire broke out after midnight Friday, and flames were showing when firefighters arrived.

No one was reported injured.

The cause is under investigation.

Clinton is battling Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination. Both candidates have set up offices throughout Indiana as they battle for the state's 72 delegates in the May 6 primary.

6-4 months ago I wouldn't have even remotely thought of the idea, but now?! Its a possibility thats been put into my mind all thanks to the way they run things over there...consider the tactics her campaign has used so far directly or indirectly against Obama to get some kind of Sympathy vote.

I'm not saying I don't believe the incident to be arson out of her campaigns hands, I'm just saying :dilemma:

4. What's sad is that the media has manipulated our candidate's image again.

Just like Gore, Bill Clinton, and Kerry, Clinton has been turned into a pariah through a series of slanders, half-truths, and continuous attack.

My first thought on reading the headline was to wonder where Obama was, but I quickly figured it was more likely to be one of his supporters. So I'm not innocent of the whole "Blame the other candidate" syndrome.

Maybe I'm paranoid. But it seems that every national campaign there's a fire or a bomb threat or a theft or something that required government officials (police, FBI, firemen, etc.) to enter a Democratic campaign office. It seems beyond coincidence.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Fire destroyed a campaign office of presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton in western Indiana early Friday.

Two people were inside when the fire broke out but escaped without injuries, said Terre Haute Fire Department spokesman John Gardner.

Gardner said nothing so far had indicated the fire was arson.

"But we're doing a full investigation on it like any other commercial structure fire," he said.
