The peeling away of national Democratic support for Barack Obama seen this past week may have run its course. After trailing Hillary Clinton by one percentage point in Saturday's Gallup Poll Daily tracking report, Obama now leads Clinton by two points, 47% to 45%.

1. I expected this to be reversed after a couple of days. The bru ha ha..
directed at ABC has helped Obama to recover.

2. OMG THIS IS NOT HUGH1!1!!!
What didn't happen is that the ABC Debacle failed to derail the Obama campaign and in fact may have started to immunize Obama against the inane smearfest that has been swirling around him ever since he became, for all practical purposes, the Democratic nominee.

7. Huge?
Look for a plus 10 for Obama about Thursday. A plus 20 after North Carolina.

3. "Peeling away...may have run its course"
Pollsters are taught statistics, right? They are taught to understand sample variation, right?

4. so much for the clown who posted yesterday's Gallup poll saying
"Obama is sinking like a stone!" LMAO!

I realize this poll doesn't mean much and it is well within the MOE but just had to push back from yesterday's apocalyptic post.

5. I just don't get it. People are like leaves in the wind. How is it possible that
someone is for Obama one day and for Clinton the next?

6. They are not the same people....

They are a random sample. And, in this case, Gallup, a daily sample. 1,252 persons representing millions in the U.S.

And, an average of the various polsters just might be a little more accurate. Obama up by 8+.

You can also check the Pennsylvania polling here. However, tomrrow night you will have a very accurate poll of PA, the voting.

And, polls can be very fickle...sometimes to be taken with a grain of salt. Newsweek had Obama up by 19.

In addition, people with cell phones and no land lines, cannot be polled...Obama people? And then there's the undecided.

Obama was up in New Hampshire...a few tears skewed the results.

Relax. When the majority of polls are in double digits one might have cause for concern.
