WASHINGTON—A federal judge will sentence former defense contractor Mitchell Wade, who pleaded guilty to bribing now-jailed former Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham, in December.

Prosecutors asked U.S. District Judge Ricardo M. Urbina to sentence Wade after the November trial of former CIA executive director Kyle "Dusty" Foggo.

Prosecutor Howard Sklamberg refused to say after Monday's hearing in Washington whether Wade would testify at Foggo's trial.

Urbina set Wade's sentencing for Dec. 15.

Hmmm... Sounds like they're going to try and "resolve" Dusty Foggo's trial and Mitch Wade's sentencing in between the election and the start of the newer congress/presidential term! Sounds coincidental does it not? I wonder how that will manifest itself and how pardons will also tie into this!

2. Can't he be brought from jail to testify?
No time like the present to spend some time in the graybar motel..........
I agree that a pardon is probably in the works

3. If he pleaded guilty
It's a cinch that he pled to a lesser crime and offered to testify in exchange for sentencing leniency. Will he testify at Foggo's trial? All indicators point to yes, and if he isn't sentenced until Dec. 15, it will be because they want a complete record of his cooperation or non-cooperation in Foggo's trial.

Imagine that! The Bush administration appointing someone so corrupt to such a high government position. I remember reading about America back in the 1940s and 1950s: Did you know that one communist sympathizer in a sensitive position could have brought down the entire government, even without any evidence of wrongdoing? How much more precarious is our government when the number 2 man at CIA is on the take?

Oh wait; we're just talking bribery and shit here. That's nothing compared to an Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of Agriculture being too free and easy with corn production numbers from three years ago.
