Security has been stepped up around the embassy since the protest began, with hundreds of police personnel posted on all streets leading to the embassy building.
Officials said they would restrict all protests which could harm Nepal's friendly relationship with neighbouring China despite criticism from international rights groups and the UN on Nepal police's use of "excessive force" to stop the stir.
