McCain Will No Longer Use Petraeus Photos In Fundraising Material
Source: A/P

MILWAUKEE -- Sen. John McCain said he'll no longer use pictures of himself and the top U.S. commander in Iraq in fundraising materials after being criticized by Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle and others.

The Arizona Republican spoke at a news conference Friday in Milwaukee.

The presumptive GOP presidential nominee was criticized by Sen. John Kerry and Doyle for e-mailing supporters a picture showing him shaking hands with Gen. David Petraeus that included the phrase "Leadership Demonstrated" above a link to "Show Your Support."

McCain has been sharply critical of Democratic Sen. Barack Obama's lack of travels to Iraq to meet with Petraeus and others, even inviting the Illinois senator to go with him.

Doyle accused McCain of using the military as "political fodder."

1. That's okay...
I'm sure the protesters outside the fundraisers will have plenty of copies available.

7. And getting older by the day!
mcSame seems to commit a major gaffe approximately every four days. Nothing that will keep him from winning, of course, just proof that he is worthless.

8. Hmmm... should we or shouldn't we show how old McCain is and will be?
Born 8/29/1936

Currently today McCain is 71 years 9 months and 2 days old.

On election nite McCain would be 72 years 2 months and 6 days old.

On taking the oath McCain would be 72 years 4 months and 22 days old.

At the end of the term McCain would be 76 years 4 months and 21 days old.

Reagan was 69 years 11 months and 14 days old when he took office in 1981.
Reagan left office when he was 76 years 11 months and 13 days old.

Reagan was probably in better health than McCain is today.

How will the campaign go once it is one on one for McCain?

9. The contrast between mcSame and Obama is stark.
A tired old Republican who promises more of the wretched bush policies vs. a young leader with a new vision for the future. It's hard to believe the nation could possibly prefer the old bush man. Especially since mcSame shows his age and general incompetence every day on the campaign trail. (What crazy thing will he say today?)

10. What crazy thing will he say today? Hopefully plenty more!
The other thing to consider is that McCain could offset his age with a VP with the right credentials that would alleviate the fears of those voters.

Most likely the focus will be between the Presidential candidates and not the VP's.

6. It's fine by me if he wants to distribute pics of
himself with well-known Bush shill "betrayus." He isn't doing himself any favors.
