Bush vetoes latest version of farm bill

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- President Bush on Wednesday vetoed the latest version of the $289 billion farm bill, reiterating prior complaints about its government payments to farmers. "At a time of high food prices and record farm income, this bill lacks program reform and fiscal discipline," the president said. Both the House and Senate are expected to hold veto override votes soon, and it's likely that both chambers will get the needed votes. Bush had already vetoed a version of the bill that had inadvertently left out a portion covering international food aid.

1. good. let's get on with it. now congress can override the veto
and the earmark for the "enron loophole closure provision" can go into effect so it will prevent these fucking speculators from fucking around and thereby raising our gas prices.

congress needs to act now. (they have enuf votes to override the veto)

get busy senators! take the vote now!

WTO doesn't like this bill. So Bush and ditto heads call it
pork spending. Their buzz words are buzzed out.
