2. I'm thinking of ways we can protest and it occurred to me we can mail
Edited on Thu Jun-19-08 08:25 PM by Cleita
postcards to them with pictures of bloodstained money and one word SHAME. If enough of them arrive in their offices, they can't ignore the symbolism. They can refuse to open and read emails and letters, but they can't ignore picture postcards. The Post Office is under obligation to deliver them as long as they have the right address, postage and present no threat or danger. It would go a long way to support code pink in their efforts.

5. I don't think you have to put a return address on a postcard.
Edited on Thu Jun-19-08 08:35 PM by Cleita
However, I don't mind saying who I am. But for those who are hesitant they probably can only trace you as far as your zip code. I was looking at websites to custom make postcards. Others I thought of was a postcard with a bouquet of roses to those politicians who do the right thing and a bowl of lemons for those who do the wrong thing. Also some pig postcards to send to the Republicans and other Washington Oil people everytime they get something that makes them richer.

10. Bill passed, but I hope CP was there raising absolute hell for the rest of us.
General strike.
Massive demonstrations.
Refusal to pay taxes.

Folks..this are the things that needs to happen to jolt this Congress into reality.
