Biden: Ex-reformer McCain practicing 'Karl Rove' politics, would bring 4 more years of Bush
Source: By DAVID GOODMAN | Associated Press Writer

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. (AP) _ Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden says the once independent-minded John McCain has adopted serve-the-rich policies of President Bush and the divisive tactics of ex-Bush strategist Karl Rove.

"The campaign a person runs says everything about the way they'll govern," Biden said in remarks prepared for delivery Monday in the Detroit suburb of St. Clair Shores. "John McCain has decided to bet the house on the politics perfected by Karl Rove."

Biden was referring to a series of attack ads from the McCain campaign as well as misstatements that the Republican presidential candidate and running mate Sarah Palin have continued to repeat after they were debunked. Barack Obama's campaign particularly bristled at an ad suggesting the Democratic nominee favored teaching kindergartners about sex before reading, based on a bill he supported that would teach age-appropriate sex education to those kids and help them ward off sexual predators.

McCain "is now launching a low blow a day," Biden said ...

1. They're not misstatements... they're LIES.
I hate how the media tries to make a liar look innocent for smearing people unfairly.

2. Biden: McCain is now simply a Rove puppet. McCain: Obama is too partisan
Source: Kansas City Star

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. | Joe Biden has told Michigan backers the once independent-minded John McCain has adopted the serve-the-rich policies of President Bush.

Biden told hundreds of people in a high school gym in St. Clair Shores Monday McCain has copied the divisive tactics of ex-Bush strategist Karl Rove.

He says McCain "is now launching a low blow a day."

McCain spokeswoman Sarah Lenti disputes Biden's comments, saying Obama and Biden are the most partisan presidential ticket in modern history.

Rove said Sunday both sides are being too negative and McCain went "one step too far" in showing ads that are not true.

Biden also plans a campaign stop Monday in Flat Rock, south of Detroit.

4. The burning question in my mind
If all those things Rove and Company said about McBush in 2000 weren't true, Why did McBush hire ALL of the perps who slimed him, his wife, his kids, and the rest of his family, into his campaign?

No One seems to be asking that very obvious question.

For me, if someone had said those things about my family, hugging them, kissing them, or even being around them would be impossible. Hiring them would be unthinkable.

So, I'm left with only two options,

A: What Rove and His Sleaze Meisters were 100% correct in what they said about McStain.

or

B: McBush is simply a Political Whore who doesn't mind if people take dishonorable swipes at his Wife and Kids, because in reality, he'll do or say ANYTHING to get elected.

Neither option qualifies him for President.

6. I lost all respect for McCain
when he turned around and embraced George Bush after Bush's campaign had maligned his wife and daughter. How low can a man crawl to get what he wants? McCain showed a glaring lack of integrity - some things aren't "just politics" and can't be brushed aside.

5. Wow--Joe Trippi called it right.
In his recent column, http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/09/14/politics/horserace/entry4447858.shtml?CMP=OTC-RSSFeed&source=RSS&attr=Horserace_4447858 he precicted that McCain would try to paint Obama as partisan for attacking him, and continue to run as the true outsider. Obama was the outsider, and now McCain is trying to claim that no, he actually is. Nevermind all of HIS attacks, and nevermind all of his entrenched connections in D.C. He's now trying to claim the outsider tag.
