Chemical in furniture blamed for 3 deaths (France & England
Source: UPI

LONDON, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- A fungicide used in leather furniture made in China has been linked to the deaths of three people in France and Britain.

Thousands of other people have suffered allergic reactions and burns, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Dimethyl fumarate, the fungicide, was not used to treat the leather, the newspaper said. But packets of the chemical were sealed in couches and arm chairs made by the Chinese company LinkWise to prevent mold while the furniture was being stored.

Body heat from people sitting on the furniture allegedly led to the release of chemical vapor.

1. More Hazards imported from China...They get stranger every day....

Somehow I think that all these Chinese Imports are filled with so much toxic stuff that we need to be concerned if it's "WMD" on another scale.

They don't seem to care what they recycle or use to EXPORT to America and the rest...as long as the PTB MAKE MONEY! Sort of like our Mafia/Organized Crime in the early part of 20th Century...that's morphed into Global Terrorism where the BIG MONEY is made. Chinese are just starting out where some of our ancestors did many decades ago...

2. as they slowly but most certainly poison the world
no one seems to care enough to do anything about it. Even the Chinese admit to 300,000 sickened babies. I suppose that isn't enough.

I wonder how many people have died as a result of these contaminated products? It is difficult to know being you can't even sit down in a chair long enough to figure it out being you might die while sweating from the results you discover. :sarcasm: (well sort of ...)
