Car bomb targets Pakistan police

At least eight people, including five policemen, have been killed in a car bomb blast in Pakistan's northwest city of Peshawar, officials say.

The blast on Saturday occurred as the police went to check a suspicious car parked by the side of a road.

"An anonymous caller alerted the police that a suspicious car was parked on a roadside with a dead man's body inside, but it was a trap," Ghulam Mohammad, a local officer, said.

"When our officers approached the white car parked by the road, it blew up."

4. There are valid independence movements in Sindh and

Baluchistan already. We can just have them declare independence and then support it.

We can give all areas west of the Durand line to Afghanistan and all Pakhtoons will be reunited. That leaves a small Punjab (small in area but big in ego) which is completely land-locked so it has to eventually work with Sindh and Baluchistan which will have a coast line. Furthermore, a bulk of the US and multi-party aid will flow to the newly created countries, thus starving Pakistani army which is >80% Punjabi.

The British artificially created Pakistan. No reason someone else cannot artificially create Sindhudesh and Baluchistan. Asif Zardari can be PM of Sindhudesh and Nawaz Sharif the PM of the Punjabi remnant.

Another advantage -- the Kashmir problem goes away because the little countries won't have the desire, energy or resources to keep the Kashmir problem simmering.

It will be a far better use of our tax dollars than pouring money into a rathole like we have been doing.

Oh, and as for your remark about British incompetence when it comes to nation-making, I agree. Look at what they saddled the planet with in Israel.

edit: To clarify that Israelis having a homeland in itself is a good thing. The fact that all its led to is a rabid corrupt Zionist system is one of the great crimes of the 20th century. Give land to one group so that they can commit genocide and all the crimes that go along with it turned out not to be such a good idea.
