C-SPAN to air Alaska corruption series

JUNEAU, Alaska — The national cable television network C-SPAN will devote two interview programs to Alaska's ongoing political corruption investigation.

The first will feature an hour-long interview with Alaska blogger Cliff Groh, an attorney and former newspaper reporter. Groh covered the recent trials of Alaska lawmakers and is writing a book about the federal probe.

A second program will feature other guests, including Anchorage Daily News reporter Richard Mauer.

The FBI probe has resulted in the convictions of four former state lawmakers and former U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens.

The programs air March 15 and March 22 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Alaska time.
