ExxonMobil making a play for Iraq oil deal
Source: World Tribune

ABU DHABI — A U.S. energy major with large holdings in Qatar is crafting a strategy to enter the oil sector in Iraq. ShareThis

ExxonMobil intends to play a major role in energy exploration and production in Iraq in 2010. Executives said ExxonMobil has been competing to win contracts to develop leading oil fields for Baghdad.

"I hope Iraq creates the conditions that will allow a company like ExxonMobil to be a participant in a significant way," ExxonMobil chief executive officer Rex Tillerson said.

"That's the dialogue we are having with them to make them understand what conditions will be necessary for us to take risk with our capital and have the opportunity to be successful over the long term."

1. Well, that's why we went to war there.
So I guess the carnage was successful.

3. More Bush failure
I do not know the answer to this most obvious question:

Did the USA get the Iraq Oil or didn't it?

I honestly have no clue!

School me, please.

6. There was an agreement among the developed countries way back...
to place half the Iraq reserves off-limits for the future. I've seen an old picture of the signing ceremony, but don't know if it happened in 1920 or 1950.

However, find out where we've built the largest bases, and I'll bet they're sitting right on top of it.

Remember the hugh increases of the price of gas last year...they know Oil Is Dead. Literally and figuratively. They're (BigOil) preparing themselves for CheckMate.

11. well this certainly explains....
....why 50000 troops will remain in Iraq....and now the plot thins....

....I thought the American people decided way back in 2006 that they didn't want the Iraq war?....and of course the American peoples' desire was then immediately surged away....

....then the American people decided they would gave us the Congress and our beloved anti-Iraq-war-candidate the Presidency to extricate us from Iraq, and of course, we remain firmly committed to the bushco plan....

....does it even matter what the American voter wants?

Welcome to the new American century,
Yeah, welcome to the new American century
I wanna be just like my president
I wanna make more money than I can spend
I wanna build more bombs than I can send,
To somewhere I can't even spell the name of

Welcome to the new American century,
Yeah, welcome to the new American century
I wanna big big mac and double fries
I wanna wave my American standard high,
I wanna fly my flag across your skies

Welcome to the new American century,
Yeah, welcome to the new American century
Come all you black and Hispanic boys,
We'll keep you poor so you got no choice
But to join the army in your prime and fight for Uncle Sam and die
Welcome to the new American century.
