Sarah Palin's Aerial Wolf-Killing Program Angers Feds
Source: Huffington Post

"Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's administration increased its aerial wolf killing program this past weekend, which the group Defenders of Wildlife says violates current state regulations. . .The Palin administration considerably escalated its aerial wolf killing spree this past weekend, with full details only becoming clear in the hours after the killing initiated. At least 58 wolves have been killed in the Upper Yukon/Tanana area of Alaska over the past 4 days by Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) staff, which indicates that their target of approximately 250 wolves will be easily met.

The governor is even encouraging the killing of wolves that reside and den mostly on federal land, which belongs to all of us, not just Alaskans. There is no biological emergency in Alaska that warrants such measures."

1. I utterly despise that ignorant, officious female. She is so proud of her cruelty.
Since Ashley Judd has joined the fight to stop the slaughter, I guess the ex-beauty "contestant" has to prove she can do what she wants. Anybody can enter a beauty contest; it takes much more than an entry fee to win. And even then what do you actually have? I was asked to be in such a contest once. I had more important things to do like being a caring daughter and friend and human being, and an educated one. Oh, by the way, I WOULDN'T HAVE WON EITHER!

11. Not to disparage Wassila, but being Ms. Wassila is not exactly the most
impressive title in the pageant business.

2. she's one sick freak

there is nothing more pathetic than killing for the sake of killing. What's worse, she eliminates the whole challenge of hunting on foot itself, so you know it's about killing. She doesn't think there is anything wrong with it, because she's an emotionally dead person who can't feel guilt, a real sociopath.

3. I think Sarah Palin should be dropped off in the middle of the wolf territory
and forced to hike back to Wasilla. I'm sure the wolves would get a kick out of that.

10. Amen. Wolves are very unfairly maligned. They are very shy of people and keep to themselves.
Let the bears have her. They are real killers. And they deserve to have their revenge, too.

5. Not entirely true. They do not hate human life before it is born.
After that, then they hate it.

8. Do the wolves have to apoligize for getting shot?
The quail and ducks Cheney slaughtered were domestic farm animals that had not lived in the wild and had they not been shot by Cheney they’d have ended up as food at the supermarket.

Palin’s killing of wolves is a short sighted attempt to provide more “big game” for hunters to shoot, which unlike wolves, hunters attempt to shoot the biggest animals while wolves take the weakest, least desirable animals that probably would not have reproduced. The long tern effects will be to greatly weaken the quality of Alaska’s game by killing the strongest animals while thinning the wolf population that culls the weakest animals from the heard.

Just plain brain dead stupid. Anybody want to start a pool on when Palin shoots somebody while hunting?

13. Hateful, destructive, pompous Republicans. Power above everything else obsesses them.
If you have the power to harm, to injure, mutilate, to bring suffering, it's your right to use it. That's the way these a-holes operate. To ask them to discipline themselves, to deprive themselves of any possible satisfaction is to call out their fury, witless, and brutal as it is.

They have NOTHING going for them but their emptiness, their total lack of respect for people, and the world they inhabit. Pure unadulterated self-centered infantilism, on a vast scale.

This is occurring on federal lands so I would hope they will take swift action to stop her.
