Alaska volcano erupts, ashes spew 30,000 feet up

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Alaska's Mount Redoubt has erupted again, sending an ash cloud 30,000 feet into the air.

The Alaska Volcano Observatory says the eruption happened about 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

The National Weather Service says prevailing winds are expected to carry the ash slowly to the Homer area. It could take four to six hours ........
