Washington Rep. Jay Inslee just reintroduced legislation aimed at getting retirement benefits for Valerie Plame Wilson, the spy whose identity was at the center of the Scooter Libby affair.

My colleague John Bresnahan notes that he introduced the bill in the last Congress as well, but that with Obama in the White House, H.R. 1773 may get a different reception.

5. My guess is the deleted comment

was made by someone who is still pissed that Valerie Plame and her husband supported Clinton in the primaries. I remember being shocked by the negative comments made toward them during and after the primaries.

I hope she gets the retirement benefits because nobody deserves to be treated the why the Bush administration treated her.
