Two US troops shot dead by Afghan soldier - military

KABUL, Reuters (March 27) - An Afghan army soldier killed two U.S. troops before killing himself in northeast Afghanistan on Friday, U.S. military said in a statement.

The Afghan soldier fired at the U.S. soldiers, killing one, and wounding two others, one of whom died later from his injuries, U.S. military added.

The incident happened at around 1000 GMT, before U.S. President Barack Obama unveiled his new strategy review of Afghanistan and Pakistan which includes strengthening Afghan national security forces. (Reporting by Golnar Motevalli; Editing by Alison Williams)

4. It's spring. It's going to get worse. That's a gurantee when the weather changes.

There have been a number of incidents in recent days--four Canadians, an Australian, these kids...also, it will probably be some time before the "moles" are rooted out of the Afghan military by and large. This was a common problem with the Iraqis at the outset, as well.

Neither have an Air Force

We do.

Canada is MUCH larger in area than either Afghanistan or Iraq,

and the USA can't cover those weenie countries.

With all their super firepower, the USA can't win these wars.

Sure, they can blow up all sorts of things from the skies,

Dangerous things like wedding parties, churches and schools.

If the USA really wants to "win" these wars,

They gotta put the boots on the ground

MILLIONS of them.

and for what?

What is the USA gonna "win"?

The USA has already lost most of the World's respect . .
