Alaska's Palin facing Polarizing Problems
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 10:33 AM by Stuart G
Source: MSNBC, AP

JUNEAU, Alaska - It's not getting any easier for Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who is becoming a more polarizing figure at home while she tries to maintain a national profile from one of the most remote states in the union.

Palin was once praised for her ability to work with Alaska Democrats to push through major initiatives, but in the wake of a bruising national campaign she's more likely now to reach across the aisle to pick a fight.

She exasperated Alaska Republican legislative leaders with mixed messages on federal stimulus plans and ended up crosswise with reporters over whether she did or didn't call on the state's junior U.S. Senator, Democrat Mark Begich, to resign.

This idiot could not think her way out of a paper bag. Any real complicated problem that she faces will result in her making mistakes. It is her way. The harder the problem, the worse she looks. Great.

So, what does she do in this case?

Leave the state. That is doing a terrific job.

2. Leaving the state is a little bit like Bush running off to his so called ranch

to chop wood. Running away, rather than having to face hard issues.

6. Even if nothing had happened to him, I can guarantee you that Palin
would have been marshalling up the GOP base to support her and make him irrelevant.

3. She is why I believe anyone that voted for McCain ....
is a complete idiot and is not worth any of my precious time discussing the state of the nation or the economy.
I guess I'm an elitist bigot.

4. You are not elitist....how do I know?..Well...
Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 11:01 AM by Stuart G
those who voted against Palin know the truth. How?

When asked, How many news sources do you follow..She said,

"All of them."

and voting against that lie, is not elitist. It is voting against a proven liar,
and a stupid one at that.

5. So the Failin' Palin' now denies she did in fact call for Begich to "step down"???
Ummm, Palin'?

“Come to find out, (the Department of Justice) is now revealing (Stevens) should not have been found guilty. This drastic change in circumstances, wherein truth is finally being revealed, leads me to support the call for a special, fair election — free from the improper influence of a conviction that DOJ now tells us was improper.”

Palin's remark regarding a call from the Alaska Republican Party for U.S. Sen. Mark Begich to resign after the Justice Department asked a judge to toss out corruption charges against former Sen. Ted Stevens:

"I absolutely agree."
