Lawmakers reject Ross as attorney general (Alaska)

JUNEAU -- The Alaska Legislature today rejected Wayne Anthony Ross as attorney general.

Meeting in joint session, lawmakers voted 35-23 against confirming the Anchorage attorney, who was nominated by Gov. Sarah Palin to replace Talis Colberg, who resigned earlier this year

The vote followed more than an hour of debate that crossed party lines.

Kudos to the AK bloggers who kept the heat on SP and got/kept the guy's name/quotes/history "out there".


Maybe we can send Palin and our TX gov off on a one way cruise somewhere..they seem to be a match made in heaven.
