WASHINGTON (AFP) — US Attorney General Eric Holder announced Friday the creation of a center to help galvanize efforts by law enforcement and prosecutors to target international organized crime.

The International Organized Crime Intelligence and Operations Center (IOC-2) will gather resources and information from nine US law enforcement agencies and federal prosecutors to combat international criminal organizations, Holder said in Rome at a Group of Eight ministerial meeting.

"But we are answering that threat by developing a 21st century organized crime program that will be nimble and sophisticated enough to combat the danger posed by these criminals for years to come."

who are a much greater threat to America and other nations.

Holder is, unfortunately, about out of credibility. I had a feeling that this pick would turn out to be a disaster- and the evidence is mounting toward that conclusion.
