Report: Ex-Fox News producer gets ten years for child porn

According to a Tweet by ABC News’ Jake Tapper, a former Fox News producer received a ten year prison sentence for child pornography charges.

Tapper’s Twitter said, “the @foxnews reporter who pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, Aaron Bruns (@abruns) was just sentenced to 10 yrs in prison.”

In February, Raw Story reported, “Fox News Channel producer Aaron Bruns, who was arrested and arraigned on child pornography charges in a federal courthouse in Washington Tuesday, once ran a blog heavy on satire called Tanksphere where he linked to naughty photographs of a young actress.”

Aaron Bruns is a producer for the Washington DC bureau of the Fox News Channel best known for following Hillary Rodham Clinton during the 2008 Democratic primary race. On February 10, 2009, Bruns was arrested and charged with one count of possession of child pornography.1 An FBI search of Bruns' Washington D.C. home turned up, among other evidence, photos and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children as young as five years old.
