Mel Martinez To Work For JPMorgan Chase Bank
ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS4) ―

Former Republican U.S. Senator Mel Martinez can now brandish his Republican credentials as the chairman of JPMorgan Chase Bank's Florida market and its operations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Martinez's role as a senior executive will mean he'll also serve on Chase's corporate executive committee and work with senior level clients including businesses, large corporations, non-profits, and governments.

For JPMorgan Chase, they will also land a former Senator who has close ties to the very structure that passes laws that regulate the industry.

Chase is the sixth-largest bank in Florida based on market share with nearly $11 billion deposited at 242 Florida branches, according to the FDIC.
