Prop 8 decision due tomorrow

Tuesday, August 3, 2010 – By WeHo News Staff, West Hollywood

West Hollywood, CA (Tuesday, August 3, 2010) - District Court Judge Vaughn Walker issues his decision in Perry v. Schwarzenegger, the federal challenge to the constitutionality of Prop 8, tomorrow morning, August 4, 2010.

There will be no court proceeding associated with the publication of the order.

As has happened at every important point in modern gay history, the City of West Hollywood will again act as a central Los Angeles area rallying point for the LGBT community.

Expect the West Hollywood rally – on San Vicente Boulevard south of Santa Monica Boulevard – to begin at 7pm, however commuter travel is expected to slow earlier.

This is it. The decision of Perry Vs. Schwarzenegger will be issued by Judge Vaughn Walker tomorrow (Wednesday).

The federal court announced today that it will release its decision in the American Foundation for Equal Right’s landmark case, Perry v. Schwarzenegger, on Wednesday. 4. I have high hopes...
I trust the folks at FDL when they say Vaughn Walker is a good egg. If they overturn PropH8, what happens then? Other than street parties, that is...

7. I hope the decision takes Prop 8 and tosses it out on it's head...
Seems a bit odd that there will be no Court proceeding this; that's a little nerve wracking.
