Swedish Web hosting firm confirms WikiLeaks link
Internet company says it helped the group release classified documents from a basement in the Stockholm suburbs
By Associated Press

A Swedish Internet company linked to file-sharing hub The Pirate Bay says it's helping online whistle-blower WikiLeaks release classified documents from servers located in a basement in the Stockholm suburb of Solna.

Mikael Viborg, the owner of the Web hosting company PRQ, on Friday showed The Associated Press the site -- the basement of a drab office building -- on the condition that the exact location was not revealed.

WikiLeaks has angered the White House by posting thousands of classified documents about U.S. operations in Afghanistan. The secretive site says it has servers in several countries but gives little detail.

Viborg said Swedish authorities know about the servers in Solna but have not tried to shut them down.

1. Cross referencing cell phones gps
with locations of key actors. pulling secure traffic patterns out of places phone has been. correlation with block pattern of file in cached data. Correlating communications with other servers using any secure packet or ptp tunnels or open vpn protocols. conversations reveal ISP, isp reveals location, location reveals switch port port is mirrored all packets split back to secure location to be decrypted by farms.

And there is the location and content. This was probably done long before this leaked.

This assumes traffic was routed over cisco or juniper carrier class equipment.. I wonder where the guys who wrote IOS and JUNOS consult...

2. Good for Sweden and for PRQ.
Let's hope they don't cave to U.S. pressure.

3. Leave it up. Guarantee its compromised, see who touches it.
watch the data flow to the real targets. Kill material support folks in pakistan or wherever. Judas data.

Assume the entire network used by Taliban is compromised, recursively destroy the path from sweden to the ground in Afghanistan.

4. I guess I'm just as suspicious and paranoid as you about visiting
Wikileaks, Pavulon. I am not visiting the Wikileaks site under any circumstances. I don't need corroboration for my suspicions about what is going on in Afghanistan.

5. I did, but not with my computer.
Pulled it on a USB drive and reading it on a machine that is not on the wire. To be honest there is nothing so far that I found surprising.
