N. Korea Fires 110 Rounds of Artillery Toward the NLL (Northern Limit Line)
Source: Arirang

North Korea fired about 110 artillery rounds toward the Northern Limit Line in the West Sea which serves as the defacto maritime border between the two Koreas.

A South Korean military official said the shooting began at 5:30 p.m. Korea standard time and lasted approximately three minutes when the North fired about 10 shots along the NLL near Baengnyeong Island.

Another round of firing began again at 5:52 p.m. and lasted around 20 minutes when the North fired around 100 rounds but this time along the NLL near Yeonpyeong Island.

However, the official said that no casualties have been reported so far and that the shells did not cross the NLL into the southern side.
He added that the incident is believed to be a show of force by North Korea in retaliation against South Korean naval drills on the West Sea that ended on Monday.

4. Artillery does not equal Carrier Battle Group...sorry guys.
Well unless you live in Seoul. But still the end result would be the same for the North.
