New Fund-raising Record Gives Democrats Hope for Midterms
Source: NY Times

Even as Democrats face a difficult October, there are signs that President Obama’s 2008 supporters are beginning to wake up.

The Democratic National Committee will report today that September was the committee’s best fundraising month of the election
cycle, besting its previous high, in March, by a significant amount.

Brad Woodhouse, a spokesman for the DNC, said the organization plans to report raising more than $16 million last month; in
March, the committee raised about $13.3 million.

But while the Republican National Committee has had trouble raising money this cycle, outside conservative groups are countering
with huge fundraising efforts that are expected to help even the financial playing field – and may give Republicans an edge overall.
In July, for example, the RNC raised only $5.5 million and spent more than twice that.

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the
Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

One little fact the media and the right wing doesn't like to say is there is a more of us then there is of "them."

Come on people GOTV!

1. We just need to VOTE.
Check out this article from Politico. Folks, as long as our party base (which is you and I) go out to vote, the Democrats will be just fine on Nov. 2. Chin-up, everybody. Just go and vote. :dem:

3. Right! Get everyone you know out to the polls
Even if you don't know their political affiliation, chances are their voting pattern will be similar to yours--"birds of a feather," and all that. ;)

5. and on paper too
The race is over and the dems will have huge losses is a meme that has been pushed
for over a year now. We turn out and we win (as long as the votes are counted) ....
end of story.
