Fox 5 reporter Charles Leaf accused of sexually assaulting 4-year-old girl

WYCKOFF, N.J. — A reporter for New York City's Fox 5 station has been arrested in New Jersey, accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli says Charles Leaf is charged with aggravated sexual assault on a minor and endangering the welfare of children.

Molinelli says the charges stem from accusations that Leaf sexually abused the girl at his home in Wyckoff.

He was arrested at the home on Tuesday and is being held on $250,000 bail.

The suit claimed he slammed a car door on her arms and legs as she tried to get into a car and leave. No criminal charges were filed, and Leaf called the suit "baseless," the paper reported.

I served as a juror in a case like this in Kansas..the man was found not guilty by a long shot!

Another case that is similar, the man was just found not guilty in Missouri, approx two months ago..his life was destroyed and it was a false accusation. By a jealous friend and a crooked prosecutor. I was staying in a hotel in Missouri ( the Plaza area) when TV reporters came into the Hotel to interview the man,after the court case was dismissed previously and he was found innocent ..

just hours before.. and he won a court case that day against the city and the prosecutors of his case..for prosecutorial mis-conduct and he won the case against the city for millions for false prosecution.
I watched the man be interviewed and the man cried while the reporter questioned him..just a few feet from where I was sitting... the man said to the reporter .." how do I get my reputation back after these lies and false charges?"

yes there are monsters..but not all "accused" are guilty and... not all are innocent.

But in this country..we are all innocent until PROVEN GUILTY!

I have served on 6 juries as a juror.. ( ONE OF THE TIMES I WAS AN ALTERNATE JUROR) in three different states....of the 6 jury's I have been on, only two were found guilty unanimously by 12 jurors of what they were charged!

1 case the judge came in to the jury room to thank we jurors AFTER THE TRIAL ENDED AND WE WERE GATHERING OUR BELONGINGS , and he told us we were right on all counts..that the accused had done the crime before, but that evidence was not permissable in that particular case. But we were all right.

Please let us not become what we have always fought against..lets stand for our constitution and due process of our laws. We are a nation of laws and due process. We have rights..if we take them from someone else..we may be the next to lose our rights as well.

Until this man has his day in court and unless or until he is found guilty ..he is innocent.
