Sarah Palin endorses Rob Steele; Congressman Dingell leads in 15th District race
Source: Examiner.com

Sarah Palin via her Facebook page decided on October 26, to place thoughts into Southeastern Michigan politics, with the ex-governors endorsement of Republican Rob Steele in his quest to unseat U.S. Representative John Dingell (D-Dearborn) in Michigan's 15th Congressional District race.

Congressman Dingell, who has served the district for a number of years, is well on his way to be elected for another two-year term, with a 20 point lead, to date, over this opponent.

Mike Marzano, Steele's campaign manager, said the former Alaska governor's support comes as an unexpected surprise, as reported in the Ann Arbor News. In fact, the campaign found out today via Facebook.

In Ms. Palin’s endorsement, she noted that “comment sense” conservatives need to be elected to “take the country back”. From whom the country need to be taken back from, is not defined on Palin’s post.

1. One of the very few solid liberals to receive an A+ rating from the NRA
Oh, many Democrats have high NRA scores, but they are largely Blue Dogs. Dingell is the rare example of pro-gun liberalism in the Senate.

2. Agreed...I love Congressman Dingell
And since S.E. Michigan has a huge hunter base, it is not surprising he would receive a A+ rating from the NRA. Also, he fully supports veteran's issues, social security (keep it the out of the private sector) and making S.E. Michigan the first area with high speed rail between Chicago and Grand Rapids.

What is funny about this "endorsement" is that Palin has NEVER, EVER visited S.E. Michigan. (Probably just a little to moderate and liberal for her liking) How can you endorse a candidate in our state....from Alaska? Ummm....AK is over 3000 miles away. She does not even know of the issues here or better yet, Dingell's STRONG support. She should have keep her mouth, out of our neck of the woods.
