Lawmaker seeks process to recall Maine governor
Source: AP

AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) -- A Democratic lawmaker is proposing that a process be created for Maine citizens to recall the governor, legislators and constitutional officers.

Rep. Cynthia Dill's proposal was set aside without action Thursday in the Maine House.

Dill, of Cape Elizabeth, says the proposal is in response to hundreds of citizen requests and it is not specifically aimed at Republican Gov. Paul LePage or any other elected official.

While the Maine Constitution has provisions for impeachment, Dill says it doesn't set out a process for citizens to initiate elected state officials' removal from office. Dill says 18 other states have a recall process.

1. Well, if public execution is off the table...
I'll settle for a recall.

5. Did you follow the exchange between the 2 asshats
Saviello and Doug Thomas re requiring a majority (over 50%) of votes cast for the Gov's post? MPR carried the story with audio.

One of the few times I've agreed with Saviello.

6. Oh, but it was SO important for LePage to get the mural down right away???

These people are such frauds! I hope these assholes get mobbed when they show their faces in public and are run out of the states they were born and raised in branded as traitors!
