NATO missiles hit Gaddafi’s complex
Source: The Washington Post

TRIPOLI —NATO missiles struck Moammar Gaddafi’s compound early Thursday , government officials said, hours after the longtime leader appeared on state television to dispel rumors that he had died.

Missiles could be heard screeching through the sky shortly after 3 a.m., followed by massive explosions that shook windows across the capital. Several sites inside Gaddafi’s expansive residential and governmental complex appeared to have been struck--including what seemed like an underground bunker next to the ruins of the building hit by airstrikes in 1986 and preserved by Gaddafi as a monument.

Moussa Ibrahim, a government spokesman, said that three people had died in the attack on the Bab al-Aziziya compound and 27 were injured. The strikes appeared to be part of a stepped-up NATO campaign in recent days that reflects better coordination with Libyan rebels and has helped the rebels make significant advances in the key city of Misurata.

Ibrahim denied that missiles had hit an underground bunker, saying that it was a sewage treatment tank, although reporters inspecting the remains could see an underground chamber stretching at least 30 feet deep that was built of reinforced concrete.

4. Do the armed rebel militias get the same treatment?
Or do the civilians not count when they kill them?

7. The armed rebels are going after Gaddfai's troops - not civilians.

Gaddafi is going after civilians:

2011: Gaddafi orders his troops to shoot at unarmed civilians
2011: Gaddafi hires mercenaries to go into the homes of civilians and shoot protestors
2011: Civilians mysteriously disappear in the night and are never seen again
2011: Eman al obeidi was raped by 15 of Gaddafi forces, they violated her with weapons, they poured alcohol into her eyes and urinated on her.
2011: Gaddafi forces shot a blogger in the head because he wrote the truth.

2011: Gaddafi indiscriminately bombs urban areas in Libya using planes
2011: Gaddafi issues Viagra to his troops encouraging them to rape women
2011: over 200 reports of rape by gaddafi’s men, among the victims an 8 year old girl
2011: Gaddafi mines the port of Misrata
2011: Gaddafi shells a humanitarian aid ship which docked in the Misrata port, preventing the evacuation of wounded civilians of which some died before they could be evacuated

2011: Gaddafi cuts off water and electricity and humanitarian supply routes to rebel held areas
2011: gaddafi poisons wells in Nafousa Mountains that supply civilian areas
2011: Gaddafi sets snipers up on Tripoli street in misrata, giving them the order to leave nothing and no one alive.
2011: Gaddafi indiscriminately shells civilian neighborhoods with weapons not intended for use in urban civilian areas due to inaccuracy
2011: gaddafi indiscriminately shells Misrata port and kills 5 migrants

2011: Gaddafi uses illegal cluster bombs in urban areas
2011: gaddafi use schoolboy conscripts between the ages of 15-19 and forced them to fight. They were shot if they tried to run away
2011: Gaddafi’s snipers shoot anyone who tries to get bread(even a little boy)
2011: Gaddafi shells a bread que and kills 25 people.

....... just a few

That is why the ICC will issue warrants for at least 3 people in the Gaddafi regime.

5. Total bs!
The civilians on the government side do not count when killed by the puppet rebels. The same way that Iraqi civilians never counted when the illicit invasion took place even their deaths has so far not been acknowledged by the so called allies and the bumbling UN.

11. And your evidence for rebel targetting of civilians is what?
Perhaps you cannot distinguish between what's happening in Libya w/ what happened in Iraq? If so, go check out the Libya Revolution threads for detailed and widely source information that contradicts your assertions.
