Bus Trip Launches Wednesday (Edwards in Iowa)

U.S. Sen. John Edwards will board the "Real Solutions Express" -- a campaign bus -- next week for a six-day trip around Iowa.

The North Carolina Democrat's wife, Elizabeth, and three children -- Kate, 21, Emma Claire, 5, and Jack, 3 -- will be joining him on his travels around the nation's first presidential caucus state, the campaign announced. The trip, which starts Wednesday, includes meetings with Democratic activists, "Main Street" walks and time at the Iowa State Fair. Along the way, Edwards plans to hawk "Real Solutions for America," his 60-page campaign booklet that outlines his agenda. ---

Edward's starts ramping up his campaign. I find him a substantive candidate. I'm interested in what he has to say. I'm worried that all the dem candidates are going to be drowned out by the the recall tidal wave. If Edwards campaign doesn't start demonstrating some momentum in the next three months, however, I hope he drops out and fights vigorously for his Senate seat. The prospect of losing several Senate seats is beginning to seriously scare me.
