Dean plans to take on Bush during ‘Sleepless Tour’
The Associated Press

MONTPELIER — Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean plans to take on President Bush during a tour later this month of eight cities, several of which the president will have just visited himself.

He also hopes to raise money at several fund-raisers along the way as the campaign seeks to match in the third quarter the surprising amount it collected in April, May and June. -

Dean’s “Sleepless Summer Tour” on Aug. 23-26 will make stops in Portland, Ore., and Seattle within days of a presidential visit and it will sweep into Texas just as the president returns to his home state to continue his vacation in Crawford.

“While he’s down in Crawford on vacation, we’re going to be talking to a lot of people in America who are having a sleepless summer because they lost jobs, they’re worried about the economy,” said Trippi. -

5. and his campaign is just soooooo much fun too!!!
so refreshing.

I feel like I am a member of a cool crowd or something...

And for someone as disenfranchised from society as myself, that's quite a nice thing indeed! :-)

GO DEAN!

6. Dean has real political savvy
He has gone from a complete unknown on the national scene to being the best hope of defeating Bush in '04.

Good Job, Howard.
