The panel, which investigated operations at US military prisons in Iraq, Afghanistan (news - web sites) and Cuba, cited leadership shortcomings among the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the military command in Iraq for failures that resulted in naked detainees being abused.

2. This is another whitewash bullshit story

Item. Gen. Miller shows up at Abu Ghraib, mentions that
prisoners need to be softened up inorder to get better
interrogations. Gen. Miller the commandant at the Gitmo
prison. Immediately after Millers' visit, abuse of prisoners
begins (with the encouragement of the contracted CIA interrogators)
at Abu Ghraib.

This came right out of the Neocons at the Pentagon, starting with
Rumsfeld, but executed by Stephen Cambone. Cambone to Miller,
Miller goes AROUND the chain of command to the civilian contractors
and on site officers and enlisted.
