National donates $1m to get Iraqi kids into school
Khaleej Times

DUBAI - A UAE national, whose name will be disclosed today during a telethon on Dubai TV’s business channel, stepped forward and donated $1 million yesterday towards the fundraising campaign for “Getting Iraqi Children Back to School”.

The three-month-long campaign, organised by the Unicef in co-operation with Dubai Aid City under the patronage of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence, aims at raising funds for Iraqi children. The huge donation was announced yesterday at a Press conference attended by five prominent Arab artistes who will also participate in the live telethon today that will be held from 4pm through 10pm.

Safeyya Al Emary, Iman Al Bahr Darwish, Nasser Shamma, Soaad Al Abdallah, and Mohammed Mansour showed great support for the campaign that aims at bringing a smile to the faces of the Iraqi children and will contribute to helping them complete their education. ..

1. I fear the US or its puppets will absorb this money.
There is no profit in caring for children.

2. Leave no child behind, Iraqi-style . . .
Is the money contingent on teaching these moppets to love American occupation and American corporation plunder of their assets?
