Jessica Lynch, considered the year's most highly sought-after broadcast "get" because who doesn't want a peek at the shy, blank-faced, not-very-articulate non-hero who wasn't really rescued and who has single-handedly helped bitch-slap the term "hero" into a sad joke and a giddy Fox News come shot, wherein the Pentagon PR machine can pretty much laugh in your face and much run roughshod of any notion of honesty or integrity or love of life you might still be harboring, you simpering gullible progressive fool. Sawyer's interview with the former prisoner of war and noted sweet-faced, money-grubbing non-hero will air in prime time on Nov. 11, Veteran's Day and the day Lynch's book is scheduled to be published, all timed for maximum cultural and spiritual nausea and all meant to pump sales of the book, which is right this minute being fabricated as frantically as possible by a sweating, nightmare-addled, hollow-inside Rick Bragg, who must be cranking a good fifteen pages a day, at least, to get the damn masterpiece of all-American misinfo and apple-pie BS done by deadline so as to best pummel a numb TV audience into paying $24.95 for the damn thing before it's dumped on the remainder table at Barnes & Noble for $1.99 a week later. Set the TiVo, honey! It's our very own national hero! Look how sweet and not very bright she is! Look how the world cringes at the massive bogus staging of the entire story! Awww. Sniff.
