Plano schools angered over comment by Bill O'Reilly

Associated Press

PLANO — School officials want talk show host Bill O'Reilly to retract his on-air comment about the district banning students from wearing red and green because the colors represent Christmas.

O'Reilly told the audience on his Fox News Channel show "The O'Reilly Factor" that a Plano school told students they couldn't wear red and green clothing. "That's flat-out fascism," he said during the broadcast.

1. 1. does this mean all school dress codes = fascism?
2. does the fact that he made this situation up have any bearing on the previous question?

2. if that is fascism
what term applies to sweeping citizens / resident aliens off the street, flying them to secret jails in foreign lands, denying them access to an atty or due process and not formally charging them w/ any crime. What do we call that. Could it be SATAN.

3. Angering Plano Schools--Now THAT Takes Some Doing for bin Reilly
Bin Reilly angering people in the Plano ISD? Now THAT takes some doing. People in Plano are typical Texas suburbanites and vote Republican almost as a reflex.

Now that I think about it, bin Reilly and his little excursions from reality might prove to be an excellent political education for Texas youth, especially the ones particularly sheltered in Texas exurbs.

Children, take this as an object lesson. Don't believe everything you hear on the radio and see on television just because it's broadcast on Fox.

5. And turning off microphones is defending freedom.
:sarcasm

I'm beginning to think O'Reilly gets ratings from people who hate his show and watch it anyway.

6. The guy who used to do his fact checking...
The guy who used to do O'Reilly's fact checking diverted away from his job. The guy has been busy waxing O'Reilly's butt plugs.
