SPYING - Accountability needed with president, too (Sensenbrenner)
"When Rep. F. James Sensenbrenner Jr. (R-Wis.) served as a House manager at the impeachment trial of President Clinton, he justified his efforts to remove the president from office by saying that "the rule of law should apply to everyone" and if "the president does not suffer the legal and constitutional consequences of his actions, the impact of allowing the president to stand above the law will be felt for generations to come."

<snip>

"I don't understand why Sensenbrenner, as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, refuses to hold even a single hearing on this important issue. His Republican counterpart in the Senate, Arlen Specter (R-Pa.), is planning to hold such hearings.

Consequently, one can't help but wonder if the congressman is being somewhat selective in his passion for the idea that the rule of law should apply to everyone, even presidents."

6. he should have 10,000 phone calls
Too bad we aren't disciplined like the right and have our daily call list for various topics. But heck we can be random, but the more calls the more pressure. Of course, I'm sure they are good at resisting pressure, but why should that mean they don't have any?
