US News & World Report's current issue has the usual propaganda. However, I believe this blurb in the "whispers" section should win a special ALL TIME BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA AWARD:

"The Fat-Cat Hustle
President Bush has spent an amazing amount of this fall raising money for his re-election campaign and now we know why he's been such a devoted pitchman. Insiders say he doesn't like fundraising and wanted it done as fast as possible. In fact, once he gets the goal of $170 million, he doesn't plan to raise another dime. Instead, he wants to shift to the campaign trail beginning in spring and meet with regular folk--not talk up fat cats."

And he's really just putting on an act and being insincere about his true self .... okay, that last part sounds reasonable to me.

contribute to his campaign on our tax returns. Come to think of it, in many ways we are forced to do exactly that, from financially supporting his illegal and immoral war in Iraq to shouldering the burden of tax giveaways to large corporations that reward him with campaign contributions.
