Yeehaw the national security strategy (YNSS)
Yeehaw the national security strategy (YNSS) deploys a multitude of methods to reach its goal of not decreasing world terrorism but making a person look tough while pretending to do so. Step one of YNSS calls for the US to not focus on attacking the groups that attack us but rather to bomb random countries.

Step two develops plans to drive an ever increasing amount of troops off cliffs in poorly armored humvees in the hopes of landing on the terrorists created from step one. YNSS protocol calls for those separatists who oppose funding the gasoline for this task to be sharply scorned in one of the following ways: questioning their support of the troops, questioning their patriotism, and impugning their courage.

By using cognitive psychology to reframe smart and effective policy decisions as weak and unpatriotic supporters of YNSS can subdue the opposition. When they are under wraps then the American people can continue to enjoy the long since passed short term illusions of effectiveness in favor of the long term consequences. After all, there are only two options in any conflict, fight or flight. Have we not learned that well from the caveman days that occurred prior to our creation?
