My how the tables have turned!

Halliburton, one of the largest oil service companies in the world, is planning on taking its corporate offices to the United Arab Emirates.Once the employer of Vice President Dick Cheney, Halliburton has been the leading supplier of oil services to the United States, as well as a no-bid contractor to the U.S. military in Iraq.

In a great show of patriotism and respect for the country that helped it grow into an international business conglomerate, Halliburton is going to take its business, and the jobs associated with it, to the UAE and set up shop in Dubai.Talk about cut and run!

Here is one of the leading companies that has made obscene profits from the increase in gasoline prices over the last four years running away, most likely to avoid prosecution in the aftermath of the 2008 election. It does seem likely that books will be opened when there is a different president in the White House, and those who have caused so much hardship on Americans, while profiting from the war, will be held accountable for their actions. They take our money and run away.

Halliburton's reason, ostensibly, is to boost its presence in the Middle East.Really? This is a company contracted to supply troops and help build schools and hospitals, which essentially did little that is left standing.Troops were left hungry and swimming pools in areas like Falluja remain unused. After all of this, they have the gall to charge $2.57 a gallon for gas.An amusing aside is Halliburton received $25.7 billion in contracts from the U.S. military in Iraq.

1. Impeachment isn't good enough for these villans. n/t

In this case the punishment should fit the crime(s).

2. Absolutely,....
--- Never been comfortable with the open-ended notion of impeachment. Merely getting someone out of office does not render justice, nor provide a final solution to the neocon problem.

3. There will always be neocons in one form or another.

These guys used to be shunned or thought of as nutjobs, in the family, but now they are the what define the GOPigs.

I don't believe that you can educate or enlighten those who view close-mindedness and greed as virtues.

Unless they try to rig the vote 08 is lost for them.

Buh Bye.
