The Dem-libs in Congress now are trying to drag me down with you over the firing of those disloyal U.S. prosecutors you canned last December. I read that you misremembered that. Cool! If we had kept Harriet Miers down on the farm in Texas like we should have we wouldn't be having to duck all these rockets coming at us. Feels like Baghdad, doesn't it? Or at least what we imagine it's like in Baghdad, since neither of us ever has been and never will be close to a war zone. : )

Waxman's pushing hard for the emails, hoping to do an Imus number on me. Makes me want to LOL. If that rabid bulldog Patrick Fitzgerald in Chicago couldn't nail me for outing traitor Joe Wilson's spook wife Valerie Plame, Waxman doesn't have a chance. Too bad about Scooter : (

But that's the way the Cheney cookie crumbles. Somebody had to take the fall, right?

BTW, it's funny that the computers and servers for ALL my accounts "lost" the emails about the namby-pamby prosecutors. I kept the WH one clean as a whistle anyway and used the RNC for the exotic stuff. Until those tremblechins at the RNC got scared and made it so I couldn't delete my own emails. So I went to the private email account I kept at my consulting company. Just let Waxman and Leahy try to get their grubby little liberal hands on those. Hah! Think they can download a server from the bottom of Chesapeake Bay?

IMHO I'm going to skate again on the prosecutors deal. What a bunch of cry babies they are! We should have dumped them long before they proved too weak-kneed to chase our dragons. Seems like they're up on the Hill every other day boo-hoo-hooing about getting fired and blaming you for everything but 9/11. BTW, you weren't in the loop on that were you? JK (Just Kidding)

I read that you have to go to the Hill next week for a grilling. Too bad about that. Being special assistant to the president has its advantages, executive privilege and all that : ). Stay cool up there. I know you'll keep the faith and fade the heat. Be like those bad guys in the "Treasure of Sierra Madre." We don't got no stinking emails. You don't get no stinking emails.

Stick to your guns like the good Texan you are. And remember to "save" this email like you did all the others. BTW it's not too soon for you to plan a long vacation. Texas is nice this time of year. If that doesn't work out, Imus has a sweet spread in New Mexico and he's looking for company these days. CUL8R.
