1. Republicans should never try to be funny
Or satirical or sarcastic. It just ends up exposing their nastiness.

2. It reads like a Bartcop joke. Only it isn't.
Something is really, really wrong with a whole group of people to put this into the public domain. It's like Paul Krugman wrote recently - they really seem to delight in ridiculing other people's suffering.

3. What the heck?
Goodness, is that really Barton's site?

Why in the hell would his staffers post something such as that?

11. I doubt they have permission. And I get the funny feeling MG
would NOT approve of this misuse of his intellectual property.

Weird. I thought Repukes were really INTO property rights.....

Somebody more clever than me needs to get word to Matt Groening about this so he can SUE THEIR ASSES.

9. Good satire arises from the powerless mocking the powerful
When the powerful mock the powerless, it's cruelty. This is further proof that Republican brains are wired differently from the norm.

10. I just posted this in a forum I moderate
Another member sent me a message saying that Matt Groening used to be her neighbor. She's sending him an e-mail informing him that characters from The Simpsons are being used without his permission :woohoo:
