CAN we nominate Al Gore as a write in candidate, and if so, HOW?

Specifics, specifics. And questions, question.

Alright, you pros out there, what's the answer? And please don't just respond to the piece -- WRITE YOUR OWN STATEMENT ABOUT HOW WE CAN DO THIS.

And please, please, network to as many sites as possible.

IF Gore CAN be nominated (elected?) as a write in candidate, then its time for "power of the people" to make it happen.

And while we at it, and speaking of power of the people, let's start getting very, very focused about that multitude of things we can REALISTICALLY ACCOMPLISH independently of the dem/pug one party system.

Dear God, it's obvious to barnyard animals that the DLC Hillary Clinton Doll is a textbook Republican wearing a Halloween Democratic mask. As has already been said thousands of times, if Hillary Clinton/Bush gets elected, this will simply hammer the last nail into our Constitutional Republic.

But the main thrust of this piece is hope, hope, and more hope. We have to find out just what grass roots progressive/liberal Americans (plus independents and moderates – it’s a big Ship of State) can ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISH independently of gutless Democratic Congressional traitors.

You know what; I think the power of the people hasn't even been tapped into. I think we've been brainwashed into thinking that governmental dynamics have to be processed through an utterly no win political/social system invented by America's Greek God-like elites.

Said differently, establishment politics is our jailer, not our liberator. And why should this surprise anyone since the "political game" was concocted by vampire elites precisely to give the "have not's" and middle and lower classes (the 99%) a bone to gnaw on while the pig, pig rich continue to live like Greek Gods.

So politics is part of the problem, not the solution. The solution is power of the people strategies which circumvent the elite's multiple political fail safes.

The primary challenge now is probably for us to SNAP OUT OF IT and realize that the Americans who so passionately reject this Bush/fascist/neocon coup d'etat have OPTIONS OF POWER that have little or nothing to do with establishment politics, e.g., "beltway democratic politicians."

And this isn't abstract theory. This is taking a long, hard look at realpolitik apolitical hardball. How could it be more obvious? If we are going to take our country back and save Mother Nature (and our children's lives and futures), we have to do it INDEPENDENTLY of this elite created, suicidal one party system.

Forget the dems. Forget the pugs. It's 100% up to us to make radical, apolitical changes.

And let's start with making Al Gore a write in candidate . . . and then keep going on from there.

Isn't it empowering to think we can make vast things happen without having to kiss the you know what of establishment politics?

We are American citizens and it is our God given and Constitutionally given right to fulfill the dream of our noble and wise forefathers to make this county a power of the people Democracy. So what are we waiting for?

Solidarity, solidarity, solidarity.

ps. I have only a little piece of this, but I KNOW many of you know hundreds of things we can do "outside the box" of establishment politics. Yes, things like write in candidates, but much, MUCH more than that. And these are realistic, doable things, and things we can, for example, completely coordinate on the net. Help me out, my American brothers and sisters. LET'S GET THIS NON- ESTABLISHMENT-POLITICS SHOW ON THE ROAD. I don't know about you, but I have limitless confidence in what millions of passionate Americans can do when they get focused, self-directed, and pissed.

1. Why not take the man at his word?
He says he can't think of anything that would make him run or make him accept a draft.

He's moved on.

5. Please show me the quote
of his Shermanesque statement made in regards to the 2008 election.

"If drafted, I will not run; if nominated, I will not accept; if elected, I will not serve."

You won't find one as he HASN'T made one and said he didn't feel right making one. He did make one however in 2003 and he let the draft movements know definitively he wasn't running.

7. How many times does he have to say it?
before people start listening to him? Try this one:

By Alister Doyle, Environment Correspondent Wed Oct 17, 10:19 AM ET

OSLO (Reuters) - Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore says he has no plans to join the presidential race despite encouragement from thousands of supporters since he won the Nobel Peace Prize for campaigning against climate change.

9. People will listen
when he makes another Shermanesque statement. He issued a Shermanesque statement in 2003 because he wanted to stop speculation. His recent posting of position pieces on Current TV don't reflect a man out of love with politics. His announcing a Town Hall to discuss who the people want for POTUSA doesn't sound like a man who's completely ruled out running.

So you can post all the "don't have plans" you can find. And then look up Dwight D. Eisenhower if you have any questions as to what kind of leverage he has as long as he leaves the door open.

2. You write his name on the ballot.
BUT he has to agree to your putting his name on your ballot. He doesn't want the crappy job. Ok? He will never agree to a write in.

3. "gutless Democratic Congressional traitors."
A totally disgusting comment, who is this oaf who wrote this ugly article? And what PLANET is he on or WHAT is he smoking?

First of all, Al Gore has specifically said that he has no interest in running in 2008, and also I'd bet money that Al Gore is going to endorse Senator Clinton.

Second, using grotesque phrases like:

"vampire elites", "the pig, pig rich", "it's obvious to barnyard animals that the DLC Hillary Clinton Doll is a textbook Republican wearing a Halloween Democratic mask." and "if Hillary Clinton/Bush gets elected"

Using those sort of phrases, make this W. Christopher Epler (Bill) come across like a loon....I bet he has a 20 foot portrait of Marx and Engels hanging over his bed.

4. What are you smoking?
No way he would ever endorse H.C. She is part of the problem that he works against.

6. First of all,
Al has said no such thing. No plans do not mean, no interest.

Here is a quote that he has said recently tho: "I have not ruled (a presidential run) out entirely because I'm only 59, and 59 is the new 58 you know."

So keep your fingers crossed and you might get lucky. I'm sure all of his new position pieces posted at currenttv are all just coincidental timing and all. And his townhall to ask the people who they want for president. Surely no signs of the man still being in love with politics. :sarcasm:

8. Hang in there JT - no Sherman statement means he is not out.
I am willing to admit he is out when he makes a Shermanesque statement or when he has not become the Democratic Party nominee by the time that the DNC convention is over.
