Bill Clinton Goes from Being the "Big Dog" to Being Just Another "Junkyard Dog"
http://www.buzzflash.com/articles/editorblog/037

... patronizing to Hillary Clinton because they don't honor her request to examine her record. When BuzzFlash examines her record (not her clothes, facial expressions, laugh, etc, but her record as she has requested), some readers accuse us of sexism, even though this is exactly what Hillary Clinton requested of all of us: to look over her record....In fact, when we pointed out -- with clear and indisputable factual documentation -- that Hillary Clinton had betrayed the woman she calls her "mentor" -- Marian Wright Edelman -- by posting an interview with Marian Wright Edelman where she denounces what Hillary and Bill did to poor women and children through the so-called "welfare reform" act, we were accused of "swiftboating" Hillary, even though this is all on the record, with documentation. These are Marian Wright Edelman's own words.
....

In fact, they have gone after Barack Obama with a ferocity that we have seen from neither of them in the last several years toward the Bush and Cheney Administration. Hillary Clinton could have been a vocal and tenacious leader in the fight for our civil liberties, against the Iraq War, against the tax cuts for the rich. But she wasn't, she was too busy trying to show that she could "work with the other side" by co-sponsoring bills like one that would make burning the flag illegal.

And Bill Clinton told us not long ago that one of Hillary's first acts as president would be to send him and George Herbert Walker Bush around the world as good will ambassadors. Say what?
...Perhaps the biggest mistake of Bill's political career was not pursuing the Iran-Contra investigations that would have implicated Poppy Bush -- his new best buddy -- and the BCCI investigations that John Kerry had chaired. He gave the guilty Bush-Reagan administrations a get out of jail free card, and got an impeachment and Republican obstructionism on court nominations and just about everything else in return.

And if Hillary Clinton is elected, you can be sure that she will follow in Bill's tradition and make nice-nice with the guilty on multiple counts George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and follow the lead of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and just ignore all the crimes that have been committed against our Constitution....And then we will be asked again to come to the defense of the Clintons as the right wing dogs of war are unleashed because the two of them fight harder against a fellow Democrat than they do in holding the Republicans legally accountable for their misdeeds.

2. Wait till she gets the nomination - he'll become a lap dog
He's already opined that a Hillary v. McCain campaign would be a love fest because the two of them like each other so much. I think anybody who is thinking of supporting Hillary because of her supposed "toughness" needs to examine the record. It's full of capitulations to the wing nut agenda like that horrendous flag burning bill. And Bill is no better. In fact I believe he's extremely naive. After dropping the Iran Contra investigations the repubs kicked him in the nuts and he has responded by suckin up to them for the past six years. If Hillary is the nominee Bill will be kissing McCain's ass while the repubs drag out all the old Clinton dirty laundry, perhaps with some fresh new slime thrown in for good measure.

This article says it better than anything I've seen yet

3. Since when is it a crime to advance
one's spouse when the spouse is a candidate for president? Elizabeth Edwards is out there promoting her husband and more power to her. She gets a pass? Michelle Obama has spoken out in favor of her husband. She gets a pass? This is election season and the arrows are being hurled. That is how it goes. From the media and elsewhere I get the feeling that all the good Clinton did in the '90s has been demonized. It is pile-on time. The media have determined that the name Clinton is now something to be ridiculed. The media have their own agenda and it is not to inform the public of anything but spin. Believe what you will--I have had hopes we had better sense than to repeat what the media say. I don't care who the Democratic nominee is, just that he or she win. Male, female, brown, white, purple--I don't care as long as we have someone who can take over and get us out of the Bush mess. It will take generations to accomplish but that is what we need. Right now Obama is the flavor of the day, but that can change overnight. He is subject to the same false scrutiny as the Clintons. They have left Edwards out of the equation because he had an expensive haircut. Now, isn't that a reason not to give him any time? Disgusting.

4. All the Good Clinton Did Was ERASED or Undone!
and that's not something anybody's happy about. It takes a special kind of person to overturn a fascist conspiracy.
