Ohio voters head to the polls for a primary election Tuesday, and that can mean only one thing: The Cleveland Plain Dealer is griping about Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

There is nothing new, nor anything wrong, with newspapers holding members of Congress to account.

In fact, it would be good if more did so.

But the Plain Dealer, the uber-dominant daily newspaper in the city and its suburbs since the folding a quarter century ago of the feisty Cleveland Press, is not exactly holding the congressman to account. Rather, it is looking for every opportunity to put a former mayor, with whom it has sparred for decades, in his place...

The incumbant Dems who have been ousted have been those who are a little to cozy with Bush & co.
DK is not that at all. His seat should be safe.

The timing of this hit job by Salon on Dennis is also interesting. It was on their front page today. The Plain Dealer I expect this kind of crap from, they are idiots. I am so disappointed and disgusted with Salon for their election coverage, it has been a travesty. I am not going to renew my "premium" membership. The attack articles on Kucinich, a man who deserves more respect than he has gotten from the MSM and some "progressive" outlets, are just the final straw for me. What is it about an honest man trying to do the job that he was elected to do that has some racing for his jugular :wtf: ?

The fact is that he always has been a winner, it's just sad that some are too idiotic to see that. I am holding on to the victory dance until all of the polls come in, but I am glad that it is looking good for him.
